FAQ's
Where can I see your work in person?
I am a member of Piermont Flywheel Gallery in Piermont, NY, which hosts exhibitions throughout the year in my beautiful hometown on the Hudson River. Come visit!
Do you sign your work?
I prefer not to visually encumber the image itself with my name. So when you place an order you will receive a label with the work’s title, year and my signature. You may adhere this label to the back of the work before hanging.
Are your works produced in limited numbers?
Many prints are limited editions and as such will be priced with a small premium. Limited editions will be noted as such in the product description. And the acquiror will see an indication of the edition number on the signature label.
What types of prints do you offer?
I work in metal, acrylic and art specialty paper, choosing the best application for each image. As a result, images are offered only as described and are custom produced for each order. I work closely with an independent art studio to create all metal and acrylic artwork. Art specialty paper prints are produced in my own workroom.
What is a metal print?
Images are heat infused directly into an aluminum sheet, using a dye sublimination process, creating unsurpassed resolution and color vibrancy. The image will have either a glossy or matte finish depending on my creative intent. The hanging mount is made of matte black painted birchwood. The mount is 3/4” deep which makes the 1/16” thick image appear to be floating off the wall. The result is a visually clean frameless look in which the image is hero.
What is an acrylic print?
Images are printed on high resolution archival Epson Metallic Photo paper using Epson archival inks. This paper gives the image a stunning luminous appearance. The image is then bonded onto clear acrylic, finished with a black sintra backing and polished edges. The hanging mount is made of matte black painted birchwood. The mount is 3/4” deep which makes the 3/8” thick acrylic appear to be floating off the wall. The result is a clean, frameless, modern look in which the image radiates.
What is an art paper specialty print?
When printing on paper, part of my creative process is selecting the perfect paper. I use metallic, matte and archival fine art cotton rag papers from Moab and Canon, with professional archival quality Canon print technology. This option allows you to mat and frame the image to your own taste and decor.
How will my order be shipped?
Metal and acrylics are shipped to you directly from the independent art studio. Paper prints are shipped from my workroom. Each piece is carefully packed in the method most appropriate to protect the final work.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Each piece is custom produced (meaning obsessed over until perfect) and will require two to three weeks for you to receive.
Can I alter a print size or print medium?
Maybe. Email me and we can discuss.
Do you sell digital files of your images?
No. Control freaks never do.
